And so, we arrive at the end of another month. I can’t comprehend how fast May has gone. I swear I blinked once and now it’s the 31st. There is a lot going on behind the scenes at the moment. Everything is packed up ready for the move and there have just been a LOT of changes and chaos. I have a newfound appreciation for not moving house. It is an underrated experience and I wish I had appreciated it more. Not being surrounded by boxes, what an absolute luxury, ha!

There is freedom in reaching a place where we no longer need to know exactly what comes next. After spending so long looking backwards, understanding what happened, mourning what was lost, and piecing together the person we have become, eventually our gaze begins to wander towards everything that might still be possible. April broke my heart, but May is here now, and as sure as the sun will rise and the tide will lap against the shore, I will thrive.
