This Calls For Fireworks

You may have noticed throughout my collections and limited edition artworks this year that I have been focusing a lot on overcoming personal struggles. As mailing list subscribers will know, I have been moving house, and there have been a lot of personal things happening behind the scenes that have honestly crippled me mentally. There have been a few times this year when I almost didn't make it through the darkness, and for that I will always be incredibly grateful for Samaritans, Refuge Women’s Charity and our incredible NHS.

Here I am, though, at the end of August, not only did I survive, not only did I make it through, but my wildest dreams are now coming true. Next month I'll be announcing something truly life-changing, and things are working out even better than I ever could have imagined.

My life looks nothing like I thought it would this time last year. It looks nothing like I thought it would three years ago. Actually, not even six months ago did I think my life would be heading in the direction it's now heading in, and yet it is, and I couldn't be happier about that.

The biggest thing my struggles this year have taught me is how strong I am, how capable I am of rebuilding, and how capable I am of finding my way through the darkness, THAT calls for some major fireworks!

So, please excuse the slightly less polished description for this week's limited edition print, but this one hits on a much deeper level for me. Thank you for always being here, for always reading and for always supporting my work. It means more than I'll ever be able to truly convey.
