Terry Pratchett once said that you’re never quite alive as when you’re shaking hands with death, it’s a thought provoking sentiment from a wise man but personally I think it’s more life affirming to see the outstretched hand of death and refuse the handshake. What can I say, I realised I had a better use for my hands than handshakes, I’d much rather be holding paint brushes and beautiful people.
