My June collection is 'The Oldest Magic.' For as long as we have looked towards the sky, we have searched for meaning in its rhythms. The rising and setting of the sun, the changing seasons, the transformation of the natural world and the ancient monuments left behind by those who watched these same celestial patterns long before us all speak to something eternal: everything moves in cycles.

The Oldest Magic explores that endless rhythm through the mysticism of Stonehenge, the fleeting beauty of transformation, and the moment each year when the sun appears to pause before beginning its journey once more. There is a strange magic within the summer solstice, at the very height of the light, the days are already preparing to shorten. Beginnings exist beside endings, darkness waits within light, and everything that flourishes carries within it the certainty of change. The stones remain, butterflies emerge and disappear, generations gather beneath the same sky and above them all, the sun continues its ancient journey.

The Return of Night

At the height of summer, when daylight stretches further than at any other point in the year, something almost imperceptible happens. The sun reaches its zenith, and within the brightest moment of the season begins the gradual return of darkness.

The Return of Night explores that quiet contradiction at the heart of the solstice. Light and darkness are not opposing destinations, but companions within the same ancient rhythm, continually giving way to one another as the Earth moves through its endless journey. There is a sort of comfort in knowing that nature never asks one state to remain forever. The longest day eventually surrenders to night the deepest winter eventually yields to spring, nothing stays, but it does eventually return.
