My May collection is 'Where The Tide Turns.' The waters may still be restless and the horizon uncertain, but somewhere beneath the surface the current has shifted. What once pulled us backwards begins to loosen its hold, and slowly, quietly, we find ourselves moving forward again.

Where The Tide Turns is a collection about those moments. About gathering ourselves after the storm, rediscovering our strength, and recognising that beginning again does not always arrive with certainty or fanfare. Sometimes it begins simply with the decision to get back up.

Like the meeting of tides and horizons, endings and beginnings are rarely as separate as they seem. One slips quietly into another, darkness gives way to light, and the landscape begins to change around us.

April broke my heart, but May is here now, and as sure as the sun will rise and the tide will lap against the shore, I will thrive. So, figuratively and literally, this, for me, is Where The Tide Turns.

Against The Current

There are times in life when moving forward feels like pushing against a force determined to carry us backwards. Against The Current is about the strength we find in those moments. The quiet defiance of continuing when it would be easier to surrender to the direction everything seems to be pulling us, and the courage it takes to choose our own path when the easier one has already been chosen for us.

Strength does not always arrive loudly. Sometimes it is simply getting back up. Taking another step. Refusing to allow what has happened to decide what happens next. We may not be able to control the current, but we can choose whether we allow it to carry us away. Sometimes, if we keep moving for long enough, the tide begins to turn.
