The title of the artwork for week twenty seven is:

And Sore Must Be The Storm

There is something extraordinary about the things that endure within us, hope can be such a quiet presence that we barely notice it when life is calm; yet when the world becomes uncertain, when familiar ground disappears and the way forward feels impossible to predict, somehow it becomes louder.

And Sore Must Be the Storm takes its title from Emily Dickinson's “Hope” is the thing with feathers, a poem I have always loved for its understanding of hope as something both delicate and remarkably difficult to destroy.

I don't personally think resilience always looks like strength, sometimes it is simply the part of us that continues to imagine another horizon. The almost imperceptible belief that there are still places to discover, stories to live, and possibilities waiting somewhere beyond what we can currently see. The storm may change us, but still, somewhere within us, just like that bird battling against the storm, something sings.
